Holy Cross Women’s College Ambikapur, established with a vision to empower women of the deprived section of the society, has put in all efforts to make quality the defining elements of all its educational endeavours for the past years.

By technological upgradations, value-based education, and skill development activities, the college try to foster global competencies among students make them empowered/competent skilled individuals who are responsible citizens to serve the cause of national development. Academic flexibility, curricular enrichment, feedback system and effective teaching-learning evaluation strategies to assess the learning outcomes of students are the pillars on which the college continue to excel in academics and other activities. By its quality teaching learning strategies coupled with technological up gradation and skill-based approach, the college has achieved very high pass percentage of students across all programmes. At the UG level the average pass percentage is 98.6 and in PG it is 100 percentage. Striving to promote excellence in every field promoted by its vision, mission-objectives, the college has the record of highest number of merit holders in the university. Holy Cross Women’s College, affiliated to Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya, in its first cycle of accreditation by the NAAC in 1998 was awarded a ***** five star grade and Reaccredited in 2005 with B ++ (84) and in the third cycle of accreditation in 2015, was recognized with B grade with a CGPA of 2.8. College has the distinction of being the first college in the state of MP/Chhattisgarh to be accredited by NAAC, Bangalore and the only college in the 4th cycle of accreditation in the state. As the college steps into the fourth cycle of reaccreditation process by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), it has provided us with an opportunity to evaluate our policies and approaches and achievements in a critical way. We also believe that the process will encourage and guide us for our future endeavours.
